Eshops - Select the e-shops where the product will be available.
Internal SKU - Your internal product identifier.
Primary EAN - The EAN code of the product.
The Primary EAN must match the actual barcode on the product exactly.
Codes Instead of Primary EAN (API Only)
Codes - These codes replace the Primary EAN.
The advantage is that one product can have multiple codes linked to a single Internal SKU.
Important! Only clients with the right implementation and API connection can use codes.
If the product is created through the Mailship portal, the code can only be changed later via API or by contacting customer support.
Codes cannot be used together with the Primary EAN.
Mandatory Fields for Non-EU Shipments:
HS Code - Harmonized system tariff code for customs clearance.
Country of origin - Where the product was manufactured. This is important for customs.
Optional Fields:
Reference numbers - An additional identifier for the product. If not needed, we recommend using the same value as the EAN.
Salesability - Categorization of the product based on its sales performance.
Description - Your additional notes about the product.
Customs description - For non-EU shipments, provide a detailed product description to simplify customs clearance.
Dimensions - Not mandatory. Products will be measured during inbound processing.
Languages on Product - If you have arranged an extra service for language check during inbound, you will see here which language versions are physically present on the product after the receipt of goods.
Product Services - If you have arranged additional services for your products (for example: language labeling check – localization), they will be listed here.
Packaging Type - Classic or Oversized.
Product group - E.g., magazine, footwear, toys.
Image - Add a product image (max dimensions: 4096×4096 pixels, max size: 5 MB).
Adding images helps the warehouse quickly identify and handle the product.

What to Keep in Mind When Creating a Product
Unique identifiers: Primary EAN and Internal SKU must always be unique.
LOT evidence: Decide upfront if the product will have batch tracking. Once a product is processed with data, batch settings cannot be changed. To make changes, you must create a new product.
Transforming Products and Sets:
If a product is created incorrectly and has no inventory, you can convert the product into a set or also xonvert a set into a single product. These changes can be made during product creation or editing.
