Order Sync via the Shopify Plugin
The add-on transfers orders to Mailship for processing if synchronization is enabled. See also Sync Configuration in the Shopify Plugin | Order-Sync . Once activated, all new orders will be automatically synced to Mailship.
Synchronization with Cash on Delivery (COD)
Are you using COD and want your orders to sync correctly with Mailship?
Make sure COD is recognized as a payment method – not as a product or a note.
For the add-on to recognize it as COD, the payment method name must include one of these words:
cod
cash on delivery
dobírk, dobirk, dobierk
contrassegno, contanti alla consegna, pagamento alla consegna
Please check the name of the payment method in your e-shop system.
If none of these terms are included, the add-on won't recognize it properly.
Editing Orders Before Sending
If you need to edit an order before sending it to Mailship, we recommend enabling
Sync Configuration in the Shopify Plugin | Delayed-Order-Sync. This allows you to use various Shopify automations and edit the order before it's processed. This is useful, for example, if you want to change the pickup place or add a gift or a voucher.
Manual Order Synchronization
Single order:
If an order wasn’t synced automatically, you can send it manually:
Click the button in the order:
More actions -> Send to Mailship

Multiple orders:
To sync more orders at once, go to the add-on settings:
Data Transfers -> Order Synchronization.
Select the time range of orders to sync
Click Full Synchronization
To save time, we recommend choosing a reasonable time range.

Order Status Updates
Shopify does not support order statuses the same way as Mailship. Instead, Shopify uses tags to indicate order progress.
The tag mapping between Shopify and Mailship is fixed. You can find the full list in the add-on settings under Order Statuses. See also: Sync Configuration in the Shopify Plugin | Order-Status-Sync
